This is the 11th year that we have received the PMR.Africa award as Leaders and Achievers in the Garden Route.  This year, we received the Golden Arrow Award for our contribution for doing the most in our sector to stimulate the economic growth and development in our region.

Millers Inc has been serving the community of George for over 90 years, and their mission remains to offer specialised and integrative services to their clients.  It is also part of the firm’s mission to allow growth to their professionals in a wide range of legal services, thereby offering a broad range of services to our customers.

We foster community involvement, and many of our professional and support staff are active participants in art societies, Chambers of Business, the Association for Business and Professional Women, FAMSA, Round Table, Outeniqua Chair Challenge Event, Ukuwela and Carpe Diem, and various sports clubs and churches.

In July 2008 the firm joined the Phatshoane Henney Group - South Africa’s largest association of independent law firms. The Group has over the last number of years implemented Group Standards to which all member firms must aspire, and which underpin the key Group Values member firms must adopt to become a New Breed of Law Firm™.  

Only firms that obtain above 90% compliance with the Group Standards following such an audit receive recognition as a Phatshoane Henney Group Standards Platinum Achiever - the highest award any member firm can achieve. This award is valid for two years.

We are proud to state that our firm has in 2021 and 2022 been awarded Platinum Achiever status by the Phatshoane Henney Group for achieving more than 90% compliance with the Group Standards.

The PMR.Africa award follows an independent provincial survey with ratings based on the perceptions of a random sample of respondents comprising of CEO’s, MD’s, business owners, company directors and managers, as well as senior government officials based in the Garden Route Region, and who nominate and rate firms against the following specific attributes or criteria:

- Companies/institutions that have done most to enhance economic growth and development of the Province;
- Levels of managerial expertise;
- Implementation of corporate governance;
- Brand awareness; and
- Levels of innovation.
